The day was led by a former surgeon who delivered university style lectures on anatomy and medical procedures. The students were able to calculate doses of and administer anaesthetics plus dissect organs, including those of the circulatory system, all the while in full surgery scrubs to add to their experience.

The day was an inspiring and enjoyable one for all who attended, and hopefully gave the students a real insight into studying medicine in the future.
