Congratulations to Year 11!

BGS students set two new school records in the new GCSEs:

• 29% 9-8 (old A*) grades
• 85% Ebacc “strong pass” (5+)
   

Other great news, remembering that all subjects have been assessed under the new GCSE framework:

• 53.3% 9-7 (old A*/A)
• 9.7% grade 9s
• 2 students secured a perfect 12 grade 9s!
• 82 students achieved 8 or more 9-7 (old A*/A) grades

• Over 20% grade 9s in: Chinese, Japanese and Russian
• Over 70% grades 9-7 in: Maths (all students), Computer Science (39 students), Food Tech (15 students), Italian (43 students), Japanese (14 students), Latin (37 students) and Russian (15 students)
