PE News Report 11/12/24

Rugby

Well done to the Year 8 rugby team, who picked up their first win against Bexleyheath Academy today, 45-15. With tries from Kevin (3), Jean-Andre (4) and Enzo (2) sealed the win.

Well played!

The Year 9 team produced some fantastic rugby on Thursday at a tournament involving ourselves, Buller’s Wood, Langley Park and Wilmington Grammar. The boys earned great wins against Langley and Wilmington against a single defeat to Buller’s. With a small squad due to injuries, the boys did themselves proud.

Well played!

Mr Lines

The Year 7 rugby team finished the week with a game against our friends at Beths. The boys played really well in a 35-20 defeat.

Well done to Jayden, who scored on his debut, and captain Dante, who played really well on his birthday!

Netball

Tuesday saw the Year 10 Netball team take on other Bexley schools in the borough tournament. The team managed to win all but one game, beating Townley, Dartford Grammar and St. Catharines. Sadly, a strong CSGS team managed to win the game in the closing minutes. The team managed to secure 2nd place in Bexley. A fantastic result to finish off a great term of netball. The team have shown dedication to training and a super attitude in competitive games!

Well done all - we are looking forward to lots more games in the New Year!
