Well done to both Year 8 BGS squads that took part in the Goals Tournament last week.Both teams gave their all and battled well in all 7 of their matches. Strangely enough, the two teams ended up playing one another in the play-offs.

The game finished 2-2, so both BGS teams can feel very satisfied with their performance! Many of the participants were representing BGS for the first time in a football fixture. Congratulations, it was an absolute pleasure to see you all enjoying it and working so hard!

KS3 Girls see the Lionesses in action

We were delighted to take 20 of our footballers in Years 7-9 to see the England Lionesses play Spain at Wembley on Wednesday evening. It was a very exciting game between the European champions and the World Cup winners, with England prevailing 1-0. The girls were fantastic company, and we all really enjoyed the match.
