Year 7 and 8 Badminton
Well done to our Year 7 and 8 badminton players, who played really well in a triple-header against Townley and Dartford Grammar on Monday. There was some really impressive badminton on show.

Year 7 Football
We arrived at goals knowing we would be playing tough teams, but I think the Bexley Bears (BGS 1) really stepped up to the challenge. Unfortunately, we began a rough start by losing to St Columba’s. However, in our second match we knew where we went wrong and romped on to a 2-0 win vs Harris. Onyi and Ken were fantastic, passing in between each other and having crosses in the box. Neev dribbled through their attack, passed it to Onyi, who took a brilliant touch out which took three of their players out of the game and then made a beautiful finish. He went on to score another assisted by Keir.
We lost a few games, but we came back switched on against Bexleyheath Academy’s A team. Alvin made some excellent clearances and got an assist for Keir, but had an injury and had to sit out the rest of the games. Keir scored his first goal for the football team in the tournament. Unfortunately, later on, he didn’t connect with the ball as well as he could and sent it wide, but that didn’t stop us from finishing the game 2-0. We played our last match against Bexleyheath Academy’s B team and lost, but I think that the boys relentlessly battled and did a very good job in the tournament.
