During the February half-term, a group of 40 Business and Economics students went to China, accompanied by Mrs. Harris, Mr. Joe, Mr. Dhir, and Mr. Cheuk.

Congratulations to our Year 13 IB students and their teachers for their IB results, which were released on Saturday 6th July. We're very pleased to continue to maintain high standards, and average point score of 34 points, with our biggest ever cohort studying the IBDP.
With 168 points equating to 3 A* grades, you can see from the table below that our students have once again gained a qualification of great academic value and exceeded typical global averages.
Our Open Evening provides prospective Sixth Form students with the opportunity to visit Bexley Grammar School and learn about the world-class International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
On the 18th October the SSAT published an interview between members of the BGS Afro-Caribbean Society and Angelina Idun, their Director of Education. The SSAT had been looking for strong examples of inclusion and diversity within and between school communities and we were proud that they were able to speak to our student-led body, the ACS.

We're very pleased to see that after the Covid-affected last three exam years, we have exceeded our 2018 and 2019 results and delivered some excellent outcomes for our students.

Year 13 students are celebrating the end of over three months of uncertainty with a set of IB results that vindicate all the hard work they have put in since September 2018. We feel the frustration they feel in having been unable to demonstrate their performance in final examinations due to the pandemic but they should now be proud of what they have achieved through their hard work and commitment.
On the 15th January, current IB Chemistry Higher Level Year 12 students (Cecilia, Samuel, Asmiga, Damilola, Felicity and Aasaana) were given an amazing opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Queen Mary University London student by the University's Chemistry Department.
