Introduction to Oxbridge Workshop
On Wednesday, March 26th, Year 10 students from Bexley schools participated in an Introduction to Oxbridge Workshop, led by representatives from Mansfield College, Oxford, and Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
The session provided students with insights into selective universities, highlighting what they look for in applicants and the importance of choosing the right Sixth Form subjects. Students engaged in critical thinking activities and had the chance to speak with a current Cambridge student, gaining first-hand knowledge about university life. Common myths surrounding selective universities were also addressed, giving students a clearer understanding of what these prestigious institutions truly offer.
The day was a great success, offering valuable inspiration and insight to all involved.

‘I found the trip very interesting, and it was really helpful to teach you what really goes down at universities’
Teddy Jerome
The trip really was an eye-opening experience about all the different opportunities available which can help us get into such amazing universities. We will strive to spread knowledge like this to more people in our school so they can become their best selves.
